Integrations & External Services
Connecting platforms such as Xero, Slack and other third-party systems.
The issue
Data lives in multiple systems that do not communicate. A new customer is entered into the CRM, then re-entered into accounts, then added to the calendar separately. Every system has a partial view of the truth. Staff waste time on duplicate data entry, and errors accumulate with every manual transfer.
The workflow
We audit the tools already in use, identify where data needs to flow between them, and build the connections — whether through native integrations, middleware platforms like Zapier or Make, or direct API development. The goal is that data entered once goes where it needs to go automatically.
The challenge
Working within the constraints and limitations of third-party APIs while keeping integrations stable and maintainable. External systems change, rate limits exist, and edge cases emerge in production that were not visible during build. Integration work requires careful error handling and ongoing attention.
The outcome
A single source of truth across the key systems. Data entered once flows automatically to every platform that needs it. Duplicate entry is eliminated, errors decrease, and staff can trust the information they are looking at. The business operates as one connected system rather than a collection of isolated tools.
